Project Description
A comprehensive refurbishment of eighteen teaching rooms and a large lecture theatre across three key sites: the School of Pharmacy, the Wolfson Centre, and the Royal Free Hospital teaching facility. This project aimed to modernize and enhance these critical learning spaces, ensuring they met the evolving needs of students and faculty.

Scope of Work
The refurbishment encompassed a wide range of essential upgrades, including:

Replacement of carpets and thorough flooring repairs.

Complete redecoration of all spaces.

Replacement of damaged or outdated ceiling tiles.

Electrical and Safety Upgrades.

Comprehensive electrical upgrades, including new surface trunking, power outlets, data points, and fire alarm system enhancements.

Upgrading existing fire doors to meet current stringent fire safety standards.

Critical fire stopping of existing fire dampers and services to ensure regulatory compliance.

Structural and Acoustic Improvements.

Replacement of aging timber sash and casement windows.

Installation of acoustic screens and new whiteboards to improve the learning environment.

Specialist Coordination.

Effective coordination and management of specialist subcontractors for the installation of state-of-the-art AV equipment and modern lecture theatre seating.

Compliance and Documentation
All Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Health & Safety (H&S) documentation were meticulously uploaded to UCL's online portals, Verature and Infobrick.
