Project Description

Full strip out of all corridors and associated rooms for the Heart Science Laboratory at Harefield Hospital. All ceilings, wall fixtures & furnishing were removed along with the existing vinyl flooring and screed. A new Altro White Rock wall system was installed with an Altro Crete 4mm Resin Floor.

As well as accommodating increased bodies, ample storage, and M&E connections were also required. In addition, careful consideration of materials for worktops & furniture was needed, to ensure they were hardwearing, easy to clean, and chemical resistant.

Bringing together the Heart Science teaching staff, collectively we sought to optimise the available floor space to accommodate the required class size and formulate layout ideas.

The completed works provided a completely new feel and look to the old tired laboratory.
