Project Description

GD Construction were tasked with the refurbishment of offices across 4 floors. The works consisted generally of: strip outs, electrical alterations, replacement vinyl flooring, installation of office pods and decorations, plus additional works as per client requests.

Challenges Overcome

1. Working within the live office environment

2. Noise due to the above

Specific Solutions

1. Working OOH where required to mitigate noise/site activity as much as possible.

2. Deliveries/rubbish clearances taking place when suitable to the office.

3. Engaging with the estates teams to plan and notify the dept of any necessary isolations and/or fire alarm testing.
